Should you give the drive back or leak it?
Neither ends your run. Giving it back pays you and saves her mother; leaking it gets her mother killed, sends Eleanor to the Revolution and makes Nutrifruit grow seeds again.
Neither choice at the end of Probably Stolen Eleanor's story ends your run. Give her mother's data drive back to the Black Market and you are paid, her mother is freed and the two of them scavenge together; leak it and her mother is killed, Eleanor joins the Revolution and Nutrifruit grows seeds again. Her story only stops early in two ways: she is arrested because you put her uncle's Care Package on the counter while she is there, or you send her away when she first asks for food.

A man who says he is Eleanor's uncle hands you a crate: "We put together a little care package for her." He wants it in her hands, not yours, and asks you to keep Security out of it. The crate is the Care Package for Eleanor, "A sealed crate of fine goods from the Upper Levels", and its description adds that "your Security feed lists it as reported stolen."
Care Package for Eleanor You have two safe options:
The crate is a sealed item; this page doesn't say what happens if you try to open it.
Once Eleanor has saved enough, her investigator finds a data drive in her mother's old lab: research showing how to make standard Nutrifruit yield seeds again, which would cost pastel its seed business. The embezzlement charges were made up. The next day a Black Market Thug comes to your counter: tell her to give it back, he says, and her mother will be freed and exiled to the Lower Levels; refuse and her mother dies. He offers you money if you get her to hand it over.
When Eleanor returns, you choose for her:
Neither option causes a game over, so the choice is about the story and about Nutrifruit, not about surviving. The game's other endings are listed in our guide to Probably Stolen's losing endings.
Eleanor's visits come in this order in a normal run:
Her visits also appear as one line on our page about the customers who visit your shop.
HydraTech Micro Water Purifier
L'ESSENCE Pheromone Perfume
SYNC Self-Refilling Neuroactive Perfume This page doesn't cover whether the Care Package can be opened, or how Nutrifruit seed prices change after a leak. On the open beta branch, patch notes of November 1, 2026 add a bail offer two days after Eleanor is arrested, a 50-Credit alternative when she asks for food and a more generous gift for reporting her uncle; those are not in the public build this page describes. We will update this page when those changes reach the public build.
Neither ends your run. Giving it back pays you and saves her mother; leaking it gets her mother killed, sends Eleanor to the Revolution and makes Nutrifruit grow seeds again.
Report the man who brings it, or keep it off the counter while Eleanor is shopping. If she is standing at your counter when the crate goes on it, Security arrests her for stolen goods.
It is a sealed crate in the game files, and this page doesn't cover opening it. What matters for the story is not putting it on the counter in front of Eleanor.
Either she was arrested with the Care Package, or you didn't sell her food when she ran out of money. Both end her story.
Three early visits, then her uncle, then a run of visits as she scavenges and saves up, and finally the drive, the choice and her farewell. The order is in the visits section above.
A HydraTech Micro Water Purifier or a L'ESSENCE Pheromone Perfume if you report her uncle, and a SYNC Self-Refilling Neuroactive Perfume when she says goodbye.
