Loftia is a cozy solarpunk MMO from Qloud Games that entered Early Access on November 3, 2026, on Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC and Mac. This hub collects the key facts, including the price, platforms, system requirements, multiplayer and what the demo carried over, the official links and every Loftia page we publish.

What is Loftia?

Loftia describes itself as a cozy, solarpunk MMO. You farm, craft, explore and socialize in a shared online world, and build and decorate a home of your own. The story starts in Loftia City: you play through its opening questline, meet its residents, salvage resources, grow crops, decorate your home in a shared neighborhood and go on group adventures.

You can play Loftia solo or with friends. The official FAQ says playing alone does not block your progress and that you can enjoy almost all of the content on your own. It is still an MMO, so you need to be online to play, on every platform.

Early Access is the paid launch before 1.0. The developers say it takes you through the main storyline, four chapters across Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens and the Gridfall, and their list of what it adds over the demo includes pets, fishing, higher proficiency levels, more adventures and more World Projects. They target about a year in Early Access and plan new islands, questlines and NPCs, the Study Cafe, Clubs and NPC Friendships on the way to 1.0; the official FAQ says new content will be free for everyone who owns the game. The Loftia creator is Qloud Games, which develops and publishes the game. Loftia was funded on Kickstarter.

The official Loftia website is loftia.gg, which hosts the FAQ and links to both stores. You can buy the game on the Loftia Steam page or on the Epic Games Store. The developers answer questions and post announcements on the official Loftia Discord, at discord.gg/loftia. Cluefile is not an official Loftia wiki: the guides below are our own, each with its sources listed.

Platforms

PC and Mac (Steam, Epic Games Store). The Mac version needs Apple silicon: Steam's requirements say Intel-based Macs are not supported. Controllers are fully supported, and the developers say Loftia supports Steam Deck; Valve had not rated it as of November 3, 2026. Nintendo Switch is planned for 2027, with no date announced. No mobile, PlayStation or Xbox version has been announced, and on November 2, 2026 the developers warned that a Loftia app on Google Play was fake.

Price

$29.99 in the US, with regional pricing. On November 3, 2026, Steam showed a 17% introductory discount to $24.89 and said the offer ends November 17. You buy the game once: there is no subscription, and the in-game shop and season pass sell cosmetics only. The developers may consider raising the price as 1.0 gets closer.

System requirements

Minimum on Steam: 64-bit Windows 10 with an Intel Core i3-10100F or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 (or equivalent), 8 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 1050 or Radeon RX 560 (or equivalent); or macOS 14.5 on an Apple M2 with 8 GB of RAM. Both need 10 GB of free space and a broadband internet connection.

Multiplayer

Online only, on every platform; there is no offline mode. You can still play solo: the official FAQ says playing alone does not block your progress. You can play with as many friends as you like on the same server, and you are not locked to one server. Cross-play is not promised yet, and you buy the game separately on each platform.

Demo

The free Steam Next Fest demo ran from October 19 to October 26, 2026 and is no longer on Steam. The developers said completed quests, collected items, character progress and your player name carry over to Early Access if you linked an email or Loftia account on the character-select screen. A demo player name is released if you do not log into Early Access at least once by February 3, 2027; your progress is kept.
