How do I get Scrambled Coordinates in Loftia?
Harvest gathering spots in Loftia City after Ryder gives you "Adventure Awaits!". Each harvest has a chance to drop one. Finishing the quest, the daily chest and Cella's Key Shop are the other sources.

Every row comes from the Early Access game files, Steam build 26416344, read on November 4, 2026.
Early Access opened on November 3, 2026 with the same Loftia City story; the values on this page are read from its game files, Steam build 26416344.
Scrambled Coordinates have no fixed spot. They are a bonus drop: every time you harvest a gathering spot in Loftia City, the game rolls a chance to hand you one Scrambled Coordinates on top of the normal materials. The official news page says they can drop from harvesting any resource node, and a developer told players in the official Loftia Discord on October 19, 2026 that you can find them "anywhere, anytime you forage".
Two things decide whether you can get them at all:
How often they drop is in the bad-luck section. The short version: early on, while the quest is asking you for your first 3, the game gives you an extra chance on every harvest, so the first few come faster than later ones.
"Adventure Awaits!" is the side quest that introduces adventures. Ryder offers it once you have finished "Permission to Glide", and the quest log describes it as Ryder suspecting that Loftia's instability is tied to the Research Islands. It has four steps:
Finishing the quest gives you 15 Scrambled Coordinates, enough for five more adventures, and the Flare emote.
If you started this quest in the demo, the developers said your progress carries over to Early Access with your linked Loftia account.
Scrambled Coordinates are the ticket for Ryder's airship. Each one points at a spot in the sky, and every adventure costs 3 of them. Adventures take you to the Research Islands, where you explore, gather and come back with rewards such as Bloom.
Harvesting is the main source, but there are three others.
You can hold 30 Scrambled Coordinates in the Early Access build; the demo allowed 50. The Travel Kit perk raises the carry limit for adventure items: the game files list three levels, Travel Kit I, II and III, adding 5, 10 and 15. We have not confirmed in play that all three levels stack.
Selling them is rarely worth it: they go for 10 Dew each, while Cella charges 30 to buy one back.
Most players who get stuck are harvesting the right things and just unlucky, or harvested before Ryder's quest started. Check these in order.
1. Is "Adventure Awaits!" in your quest log? The drop does not exist until it is. If it is not there, finish "Permission to Glide" and talk to Ryder.
2. Are you harvesting in Loftia City? These twelve gathering spots can drop them:
Mushrooms are not on the list for Loftia City.
3. How lucky do you need to be? Read from the Early Access game files, not measured in play: each harvest has a 5% chance to drop one, or 10% on a critical harvest, half the chance in the demo files. While the quest is still asking for your first 3, the game adds a separate 40% roll on each harvest, the same as in the demo. We have not confirmed how the two rolls combine, so treat the first few as faster rather than guaranteed. The developers' first demo patch notes, posted on October 21, 2026 on Steam, say they clarified where to find Scrambled Coordinates for Ryder's quest and increased their drop chance during that quest step.
4. Looking for "maps"? A developer said on October 21, 2026 that maps was the old name for Scrambled Coordinates, so older videos and posts that mention maps mean the same item.
Two things on this page are still open: how the normal drop and the extra quest roll combine on one harvest, and whether the daily chest ever gives both rewards at once. Compared with the demo build, the Early Access game files halve the chance that a harvest drops one and lower the carry limit from 50 to 30; the other numbers on this page are the same in both builds.
Every value on this page was checked against Early Access build 26416344 on November 4, 2026. A later change to a drop chance, cost or limit is updated with the date it was checked.

3. Collect 3, show them to Ryder, play one adventure and report back. The quest then rewards you with 15.
Ryder. The demo's objective called him the Adventurer; in the Early Access build the step reads "Show the coordinates to Ryder".
Adventures. Every trip on Ryder's airship to the Research Islands costs 3.
Yes, later. Cella's Key Shop sells them for 30 Dew each, but it only opens after her quest "The Real Treasure", once the story moves on from Loftia City to the Hanging Gardens.
It can. In the game files, the daily chest in the Player Neighborhoods gives 3 to 5 Scrambled Coordinates or 3 to 5 Bloom, one reward per chest, and only after you finish "Adventure Awaits!".
30 in the Early Access build. The Travel Kit perk's three levels add 5, 10 and 15 to the carry limit for adventure items.
Usually because "Adventure Awaits!" has not started yet; drops only begin once it has. After that it is luck: the Early Access game files give each harvest a 5% chance, 10% on a critical harvest, with an extra roll while the quest still needs your first 3.

No. The first adventure, to Crater Island, is solo. Later adventures take up to 4 players.

Yes, if you linked your Loftia account. The developers said completed quests, items and character progress from the demo carry over to Early Access, which opened on November 3, 2026.
