Loftia Money Making
The best money making in Loftia is cooking, not selling raw crops. A Garden Salad sells for 70 Dew and its three seeds cost 30, so each one earns 40 Dew; a Tomato sold raw earns only 15 over its seed. Ship your crops and meals in the Shipping Bin to turn them into Dew.

How selling works in Loftia
The Shipping Bin. The game calls it "one way Loftians can contribute to Loftia's prosperity": shipping crops and other goods to the city "will net you some Dews". Once the bin unlocks, the game tells you "You can now ship your crops or cooked meals in the Shipping Bin!" Early quests have you ship lettuce, then crops and a Carrot Soup, so you learn it in the first hour.
The Vending Machine. Pebble's welcome gift in The Extremely Secret Surprise includes a Vending Machine. It lets you buy items from and sell items to other Loftians in your neighborhood, and the game suggests selling "different goods like clothes and furniture" there. You put items in the slots under your name and "freely set each item's price"; when something sells, you collect the Dew from the machine.
Gathered materials are for crafting, not selling. The game files mark crops, dishes, refined materials such as Plank and Metal Plate, and Kun's cooking ingredients as sellable, but not the materials you gather, like Screws, Plastic Discards and Clay, and not fish. Refined materials sell for 5 Dew each, and Sugar that costs 5 Dew at Kun's shop sells back for 3. Keep gathered materials for crafting, or put spares in your Vending Machine for a neighbor to buy.

Every dish below is a Loftia City recipe you can cook at the Cooking Station. Profit is the sell price minus what the ingredients cost to buy: seeds at Hazel's Seed Shop, and Butter, Milk, Egg, Cooking Oil and Sugar at 5 Dew each from Kun's Recipe Shop. Wild Berries and Portobello Mushrooms are gathered, so they count as free. Every dish uses 2 Battery charges.

Kun's recipes cost 20 to 40 Dew each, once. The price depends on the Global Village that week: the game tells you when "Kun's shop is selling items at a discount this week". Portobello Mushrooms come from glowing nodes you gather with Pruners during treasure hunts, so Mush & Chips is not a dish you can make on demand.

A simple Loftia Dew routine
- Start with recipes you already have. Tomato Soup and Carrot Soup need no recipe purchase. Carrots grow in 10 minutes; Tomatoes take 15 and need water every 5 minutes.
- Plant for Garden Salad once you have it. It needs one Tomato, one Lettuce and one Carrot, and pays the most per dish. A developer said in the official Loftia Discord during the demo that everyone has two small garden beds, so plan around a handful of plants at a time.
- Cook while the crops grow. Fruit Smoothie needs only Sugar from Kun and two Wild Berries from berry bushes, so you can cook it with no garden at all. Power Smoothie adds a Tomato and earns more.
- Ship the dishes, then buy the next recipe. The Kun's Recipe Shop dishes that pay best for their ingredients are Veggie Egg Scramble, Fries, Potato Soup and Creamy Summer Soup, at 30 Dew each.

The Loftia Dew cap
In the demo, Dew stopped at 5,000. Players reported that their Dew stayed at 5,000 even after selling more. In the official Loftia Discord on October 22, 2026, a developer answered that the 5,000 cap "is for the demo" and that it goes higher in Early Access, with "much higher cap in release" in a second reply.
Early Access opened on November 3, 2026. Its game files do not settle the cap: the limit they list for Dew is the same as in the demo files, and that demo value did not match the 5,000 players saw. We add the Early Access cap once the developers give it.
What to spend Dew on in Loftia
- Building Permits from Amani. The game says permits "let you gradually expand your farm, storage, stations and more". More garden beds and stations mean more to cook and sell.
- Seeds from Hazel's Seed Shop: 5 to 15 Dew each.
- Recipes and ingredients from Kun's Recipe Shop: recipes 20 to 40 Dew, ingredients 5.
- Outfits from Linda's Fashion Shop: 30 to 100 Dew a piece in Loftia City.
- Furniture from Estella's Furniture Shop: 25 to 75 Dew a piece in Loftia City.
Loftia also has a paid in-game shop, which sells cosmetics only.
Version notes and limits
One point is open: the Early Access Dew cap. The prices and profits above were recalculated from Early Access build 26416344 on November 4, 2026: Garden Salad and Veggie Egg Scramble sell for 5 Dew less than in the demo, and Kun's Loftia City recipes cost up to 40 Dew. Dishes and crops from the Hanging Gardens and the Gridfall are not in these tables yet.
